    Description

    Rare U.S. Fencing Model 1909 Training Bayonet.  This measures 19" overall with double ring sockets. This piece was fabricated specifically for training and consists of a spring extension, bent into a circle and covered with leather at the tip. This still has leather on the tip,  There is some leather loss around the circle end, and the two parts that cover the top of the circle sides have come off, but still have the pieces. See photos for further details, clarification, and condition. An interesting piece.
